I will stamp all over 'credible fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming bout.

Ex twice world boxing king Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Boxer's Attitude

"I plan to damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.

"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's my goal."

Respectful Interaction

Despite those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually recognized for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK opponent Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Jake Paul's Background

Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.

He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.

Commercial Attraction

However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, consistently making massive earnings.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would stop the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.

"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.

Physical Difference

As the two fighters met for the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
